I got the hydrabathi chicken biriyani, mild spice and shared some garlic naan. The rice was flavorful, the chicken was moist and well seasoned, and the chutneys were fresh tasting. The garlic naan was fragrant and both crispy and chewy; great to dip with the chutneys! I loved the generous portion (had some leftover for dinner!), the service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and professional. Would come here to try other things on their menu!

Sadly no photos because I was dying to eat and this place is certified DELICIOUSNESS! Good service and great Bollywood music selections. We got 5 curries: palak paneer, butter chicken, lamb kuruma, goat chettinadu, and a lentil one I forgot the name of with many orders of garlic naan. Palak paneer is in my top 3 Indian curries and theirs is so incredibly yummy-- my favorite out of the five! I'm not a fan of lentils at all, but the lentil curry we got was so good and I ate a lot of it. All our curries were mild with the goat chettinadu being very spicy still, but their garlic naan was so addicting! It's light and flavorfully perfect. With a low spice tolerance, I downed two mango lassis and I loved it so much. It was creamier than others I've had and I prefer it that way! I hope to return to try more curries and dosas and much more! A lengthy meal with northern and southern options like this place might be perfect!

It is hard to find Indian places selling dosa as it is specifically Southern Indian food. Most of Indian restaurants are more like Northern style. Having lived in Southern India, I missed having dosa and this place has dosa and chutney just like the ones I used to have back in India. Chicken biryani is also very good.

First time visitng Mr.Dosa! We tried a bunch of things that I can't recall their names. The staff were nice, but quiet. When we asked questions, they are seemed confused or unaware of the answer. For example we saw that on their advertisement outside they were serving a certain item, but when asked they said no, for it to turn out that they do indeed sell that item. The food was bomb though! Especially the paneer and pani poori!

This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in the Sacramento area! This is also my second review. The last time I was here was about a year ago, and the food and services is still excellent!!! My first time trying their dessert and it was surprisingly delicious!

Today I found out that I'm having a girl I am pregnant and I used to come to this establishment when I was younger prior to my pregnancy and I feel like everything's gone better. The food is really good. The service is even better and the menu looks different, I was served quickly and with kindness I really enjoyed my meal and so did my baby. It was a nice place to celebrate finding out gender. This restaurant is really nice. There's a lot of cool decorations. They were super nice to Daisy and even gave me food and water for her. My server was Sapna. Sapna is an amazing woman. She was always asking if I was OK. She always cleared my table and always refreshed my water. I can't wait to come back.

Attentive service and delicious food! I ventured here for a reunion with friends. We ordered multiple dishes, but the two that truly stood out were the Masala Dosa and the Bhindi Masala. This was my first time trying dosa and this place did not disappoint! They certainly live up to their name. My absolute favorite dish was the Bhindi Masala. The okra was cooked to perfection and my whole party loved it (even those who aren't the biggest fan of okra). The restaurant was clean and the service was great! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Indian cuisine in Elk Grove!

After a friend visited this restaurant I was inspired to visit the next time I was in the area. This restaurant is located off of Laguna Blvd and Franklin Blvd behind the Walgreens. Plenty of parking available. The staff were welcoming and attentive. There were so many options on the menu I had a difficult time choosing what to order. The menu was organized in different food types. I think it had quite a good amount of vegetarian options too! Eventually we ordered a mango lassi, dal makhani (includes a side of rice), chicken tikka dosa and garlic naan. The mango lassi was so refreshing. The tang of the yogurt base came through and was a nice balance with the creamy mango. Not too sweet which is a compliment. The dal makhani had so much flavor. I ordered the dish with mild spice and it was still so tasty. My local restaurant stopped offering this dish so I'm so pleased to have found this on the menu. It actually tastes better than the other place. The chicken tikka dosa was also wonderful. The chicken was moist and had a ton of flavor. I liked the convenience of how the dosa was wrapped. The dipping sauces were a nice pairing but I didn't necessarily feel I needed them. The garlic naan was prepared nice and crispy. The garlic flavor came through but as someone who loves garlic I might have enjoyed a little more. The restaurant is a small, but because I ate an early dinner I didn't have any trouble finding a table. The restaurant started filling up but everyone was seated as they came through the door. I also saw a couple people ordering food to-go. I'm so glad I tried this restaurant out. It imis my nee favorite Indian restaurant and I cannot wait for my next visit to try more options on the menu.

We don't go out for Indian food often, but we love butter chicken, and we just watched some videos about dosa, so of course it was the perfect time to try out Mr. Dosa! They are hidden amongst some other hidden gem restaurants behind Walgreens. Despite being pretty early for dinner time, there were a few other tables already dining when we arrived. They have a full kids menu which is great! We picked the chicken fried rice for our kids to share, and any meal that my son will eat meat is a win for us, and he loved it! The butter chicken here was so creamy and my favorite part was that the chicken itself was actually so tender. It is a pretty small dish though and it's more like a single portion rather than the family style I was expecting. We ordered it medium spice and it wasn't too overpowering. We tried out the side of parotta with it, rather than getting our usual naan, since we wanted to try something different. It was good but I think I'd stick to naan because it has more thickness to scoop up sauces, but the shredded and light texture of parotta is nice! We also chose the egg dosa which comes with chutney sauces and a lentil stew. My favorites were the tomato and coconut chutneys with the dosa. I wish the dosa itself was crispier though, and I'm not sure if it was because the egg was maybe weighing it down, or if the dosa just isn't normally as crispy here. They have so many options though so I am definitely willing to give it another shot! Our server was so sweet and she checked on us often. Great service and food came out pretty quickly. I would love to come back again and try more items because they have such an extensive menu!
